Role Description
The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting Keramos' products, identifying sales opportunities, and achieving sales targets. This challenging role represents many different product divisions for Keramos and would suit a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business and managing existing customer accounts within the mining industry. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, sales expertise, and strong interpersonal skills to effectively promote and sell Keramos products and services, along with willingness to travel as required. This is a full-time hybrid role located in Port Kennedy, WA.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Sales, Management or Engineering are desirable but not necessary
- Experience in the mining or materials handling industry is preferred
- Knowledge of ceramics, wear-resistant materials, and/or pumps is beneficial
- 5 years of direct selling to mining or mineral processing
- Technical Sales and Sales skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Customer service and problem-solving skills
- Current Australian Driver’s License.
Key responsibilities within the role include
- Growing sales numbers within existing accounts in the WA Mining sector
- Developing new relationships with key decision makers on site
- Managing technical sales processes with the ability to get hands on with technical products
- Reporting back to the operations manager around sales targets and results
- Regional travel to key clients within the WA region
- On-the-road solution selling experience
- The ability to articulate technical solutions to your clients across a range of product categories
