Trowelable Ceramic

Keramos Shutdown 105 is a ceramic based wear resistant paste, suitable for repair of worn steel surfaces. It comprises a fast-setting two-part mixture that can be mixed and applied directly to the main wear areas to prolong service life.

Shutdown 105 contains hard, wear resistant alumina ceramic beads in an epoxy cement matrix. When mixed, it does not slump or run, and can be applied to vertical or overhead surfaces. It can be applied to surfaces in thick layers using a trowel or spatula. Shutdown 105 is a quick and convenient solution to repair or protect steel, ceramic or rubber surfaces that experience highly abrasive wear, often seen in mineral processing or mining applications. It has high crush resistance and good impact resistance. Typical applications include:

Brushable Ceramic

Keramos AER Silcarb contains ultra-hard silicon carbide ceramic particles in a two-part epoxy matrix. Being a low viscosity material, it is easily applied by brushing onto steel surfaces. Keramos AER Silcarb is quick setting and produces a thin, wear resistant barrier, suitable for applications that do not have sufficient room for thick layers of wear compounds, such as in pump linings.

Keramos AER Silcarb is designed for protection from erosion, corrosion and abrasive wear. It has excellent chemical compatibility and produces a smooth, low friction coat on surfaces. Typical applications of Keramos AER Silcarb include:
